The department focuses more on training the students in emerging areas like Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Security, Image Processing and Computer Vision, Android Mobile Applications Development, PHP Programming, HTML5, PERL and Python Scripting etc., with an objective of providing better career opportunities to the students and making them industry ready professionals.
The Department of MCA is taking a leading role in making the students Microsoft certified. Microsoft Cloud Competency Centre at SRK Institute of Technology is actively involved in Microsoft Azure Applications Development. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Qadeer is an accomplished Associate Professor with 25 years of diverse experience in teaching, research, corporate training, and administration, contributing significantly in both India and abroad. He is currently serving at Avanthi PG College and Avanthi Engineering College in Hyderabad, affiliated with Osmania University and JNTUH, where he plays a crucial role in advancing the academic experience for students. Additionally, he is involved with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, where he offers his expertise as a Computer Science lecturer, enhancing the learning environment for a broad spectrum of students.

His commitment to advancing tech education is evident through his NAAC, TASK, and admissions coordinator roles, as well as his impactful contributions to student engagement as a computer club advisor.
